Ben will be forever remembered for his infectious laugh and the ability to spin a story like no other. He was always willing & ready to help a friend, neighbour or a complete stranger at a moments notice.
Ben was long time member of the Horsefly Volunteer Fire Department and their Captain for 10 years. Ben was dedicated to his profession in the forest industry and was known for his strong work ethic.
Ben was at his best and happiest when he was in the mountains or on the lakes. An adventure was always just around the corner whether he was cutting trails, hiking, hunting, guiding, travelling, sledding or fishing, also an all you can eat buffet was always exciting.
Ben is survived by his partner Melissa, son Mason, daughter Mayla, parents Cecil & Lorrie, brothers James (Mariska) and Joe (Deanna), many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
"The mountain called your name and sadly for all of us left behind, you answered"
