The BGC Williams Lake will once again be inviting in the community for Halloween.

Their annual haunted house is taking shape, in planning and props at least.

This year’s theme is “haunted throwback” and the haunted house will feature retro movie-inspired themes throughout the building.

From Little Shop of Horrors, to Swamp Thing, to Children of the Corn, there will be something scary at every turn.

Anyone still interested in helping out with decorating, live-action roles or helping at the door or around the event, can contact Laurel White at 250-305-4235 or prevention@bgcwilliamslake.com.

The haunted house will be taking place on Oct. 27, 28, the Friday and Saturday before Halloween, with the more family-friendly haunted house on Friday for younger or more timid patrons from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The “full scare” will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Admission is a non-perishable food item to support the BGC food bank.

Last year, the group had 1,700 people sign in to view the haunted house.
