Canada Day celebrated in Boitanio Park in Williams Lake

Williams Lake celebrated Canada Day back in Boitanio Park for 2024, with something for all ages.

Canada Day celebrations in Boitanio Park were enjoyed by all ages on July 1 in Williams Lake.

Events got underway around 2 p.m., with musical acts taking the Gwen Ringswood stage after an opening by Williams Lake First Nation drummers closer to 2:30 p.m.

There were bubbles blowing, cotton candy swirling, and glitter tattoos, as well as bouncy castles and a slip and slide for the younger patrons.

Mayor Surinderpal Rathor also helped open the days's events, which went until 5 p.m.
